A Shopify ERP integration does not need to be more complicated than necessary. We first define which data needs to move between Shopify and your ERP, use a proven connector where possible and add custom logic only where the standard solution is not enough.

  • Connect Shopify with Odoo

    • Before configuring an Odoo Shopify connector, we define exactly which data needs to move between the two systems.
    • If a proven connector covers the requirements, we use it as the technical foundation instead of building a new integration from scratch.
    • At Racing Unleashed, products, stock levels and customer data are among the data synchronised between Shopify and Odoo.
    • Orders, payments or invoices and vouchers are also part of the integration.
    • Where the connector was not enough, we added Shopify logic for multiple companies, countries and currencies.

  • Connect Shopify with Bexio

    • With Bexio, we also start by defining which data actually needs to be synchronised between Shopify and the ERP.
    • At Künzli Shoes and Goldenbody, we connected Shopify with Bexio using existing connectors.
    • The technical connection alone is not enough. The connector also needs to fit the actual processes in the shop and ERP.
    • Before go live, we test the integration with real orders and check that the data arrives correctly in the relevant systems.
    • After go live, we monitor the integration so issues with workflows or synchronisation can be identified early.

  • SAP and other ERP systems

    • For more complex ERP projects, we start with the requirements and define which data needs to move in each direction.
    • We then map the data flow between Shopify, the ERP and any other systems involved.
    • Based on this, we decide whether an existing connector is enough or whether middleware is the better option.
    • We only add custom Shopify logic where the chosen standard solution does not fully cover the requirements.
    • An integration between Shopify and SAP S/4HANA for Rapelli is currently being implemented.

Shopify ERP projects in practice

ERP integrations can look very different from one business to another. That is why we start with the processes and data that need to be connected, not with a specific technology.

  • Racing Unleashed

    For Racing Unleashed, we connected Shopify with Odoo across three companies in Switzerland, Germany and Spain. The Odoo connector was extended with Shopify logic for multiple companies, CHF and EUR and country specific vouchers.

  • Künzli Shoes

    At Künzli Shoes, we connected Shopify with Bexio using an existing connector. The key was to fit the technical integration into the existing processes between the shop and ERP.

  • Goldenbody

    At Goldenbody, Shopify is also connected with Bexio through a connector. Instead of building a custom interface from scratch, we use an existing solution to connect the two systems.

  • Connector or middleware?

    If a proven connector covers the requirements, it is often the most sensible solution. We only introduce middleware or custom Shopify logic when standard tools cannot handle the required processes or data flows properly.

    Yes. An integration between Shopify and SAP S/4HANA for Rapelli is currently being implemented. The project is still in progress.

  • Do I always need a custom ERP integration for Shopify?
