How we run a new Shopify project
From the first questionnaire to go live. These are the main steps we go through when starting a new Shopify project.

Understand first, then start
A questionnaire might not be the most romantic way to start a date. For a new Shopify project, though, it makes a lot of sense.
We use it to clarify the project requirements first. Based on the answers, we prepare the final proposal. Then we wait until everything is confirmed in writing.

Branding and web concept
If the project includes a rebrand or a new brand strategy, we start with a branding workshop. The result is the Brand Design Guide.
Next, we develop the first web concept. For larger projects, we explore several concepts and design initial key pages to discuss together with the client.
-
From wireframes to a custom theme
Once the direction is clear, we create the wireframes in Figma. After they are approved, the biggest part of the work begins: building the custom theme directly in Shopify.
-
Test, go live, hand over
Before go live, we test the shop thoroughly.
- Different browsers
- Responsive layouts
- Conversion funnels
Once everything works, the shop goes live. We also want our clients to be able to manage the shop without depending on us, so CMS training is always included.
